The Student Alliance for Sexual Diversity, serving the University of Richmond, is committed to provide social support and advocacy for University of Richmond students, faculty and staff. We primarily focus on those who may be struggling with questions or concerns regarding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. The Student Alliance for Sexual Diversity will be an advocate for tolerance and acceptance of all sexual orientations and the queer identity, such as bisexual, lesbian, transgender, gay, pansexual and intersex. The organization also provides programming to allies. The organization accomplishes its mission by providing meetings for open discussion of issues regarding the campus body, hosting forums and events and creating a conversation of tolerance, acceptance and equality.
